Cape Vidal Campsite has 45 camp sites.
The campsite is set in the dune forests, within the iSimangaliso Wetland Park, a walking distance from Cape Vidal beach.
The campsite has access to modern ablution blocks with baths and showers; and flushing toilets.
Cape Vidal Campsite has electric plug points available.
Red duiker, Samango monkeys, bushbuck, and occasionally hyena and leopard roam the dunes at Cape Vidal.
Snorkeling can be done at Cape Vidal during low tide.
Plug points are rated at 5 amps and cannot support appliances with heating elements.

Ice, books, curios, basic food stuffs and cold drinks are available in the curio shop at Cape Vidal (the shop is currently closed). There are no restaurants at Cape Vidal.
Restrooms are available at designated rest areas.
High season is applicable over public holidays, school holidays, long weekends, events and high occupancy periods.
A booking agreement cannot be cancelled except by mutual agreement between St Lucia SA, guest and establishment. St Lucia SA shall be at liberty in its discretion to charge a cancellation fee or any percentage thereof.
An administrative management fee shall be levied on all cancellations, except those contemplated in clause 17.5 of the Consumer Protection Act.
In addition to the full cancellation and/or any amendments to an existing reservation, the mentioned cancellation fee will be processed as follows:
Cancellations/amendments greater than 45 days prior to arrival date, 25% non-refundable deposit on confirmation
Cancellations/amendments within 45 to 30 days prior to arrival date, 50% non-refundable deposit
Cancellations/amendments within 29 to 15 days prior to arrival date, 80% non-refundable deposit
Cancellations/amendments within 14 days and on arrival date, 100% non-refundable deposit
100% non-refundable deposit in the case of premature departure

At Mtubatuba, leave the N2 and drive towards the town of St Lucia along the R618.
As you reach the town, cross the bridge over the Lake St Lucia Estuary and turn left at the T-junction.
Continue for 3km until you reach the Bhangazi Gate.
Cape Vidal is 33km north of this gate.
