Collection time is time-dependent
Tour duration is 6 hours.
Night drive will be done through the iSimangaliso Wetland Park to Cape Vidal beach.
Once at Cape Vidal you will be driven 23km North up the beach, further into the iSimangaliso Wetland Park wilderness, in search of the “secretive” leatherback and loggerhead turtles.
The duration on the beach is approximately 4 hours as the vehicles are only allowed to be on the beach 2 hours before and 2 hours after low tide.
Sometime during the night there will be a stop to have a light dinner under the stars.
You could see wildlife such as leopard, hippo, buffalo, hyena, bush pig, antelope and genet to name a few.
Turtle Tour Season | Nov – Feb
St Lucia Turtle Tours run after sunset because the turtles generally emerge from the sea to lay their eggs after sunset.
No guarantee
Sightings of turtles and/or hatchlings are not guaranteed and rely solely on what the turtles have planned.
