THE BOAT
Two hours of magic aboard the passenger ferry, Advantage Cruiser to explore the St Lucia Estuary for close up sightings of Hippo, Crocodile, Mangrove Swamps and birds, such as the African fish eagle and Giant kingfisher.
The ferry is a 80 seater and departs from the Sunset Jetty to the Narrows, 6km north of St Lucia bridge.
The main objective is to provide knowledge of the spectacular St Lucia Estuary ecosystem, whilst providing an opportunity for photographs and memories that will last a lifetime.
The ferry has ample walking space and is equipped with a fully licensed bar, tuck shop, toilets, public address system and a sundeck for better viewing.

Wear comfortable clothes and bring a jacket. It can get chilly in the mornings and afternoons.

We stayed at Monzi Safaris tented camp in town, it was stunning. Drove to Cape Vidal, saw lots of wildlife along the way. Went on the early morning Advantage boat trip to see the hippos! Everything was really good. Definitely will go back for more.
